Gall gets drug account

Gall Communications of Montreal has been hired by Hoechst-Roussel Canada to introduce a drug for patients suffering from heart disease to medical and pharmacy professionals.

The multimillion dollar print and direct mail campaign will get under way in the first half of 1993.

The new cardiac drug is now awaiting approval from Ottawa’s Health Protection Branch.

Meanwhile, Gall has dropped the Nordic Commercial unit of Marion Merrell Dow from its client list.

Gall had handled Cardizem, a cardiovascular drug, for the unit.

Nordic is searching for a new agency.

Media placement is being handled by Grey Healthcare. PS
