Acco Brands Canada, a supplier of branded office and school products including Five Star and Hilroy, has retained Fathom Communications as its public relations agency of record.

Oakville, Ont.-based Fathom will take on a back-to-school campaign for Acco, and will also help with the company’s new product launches.

The decision to retain Fathom’s services comes after Acco and Fathom worked together successfully on a project basis in 2012. Jeff Schoo, vice-president of marketing at Acco Brands, commented in a release that Acco is looking to build a stronger presence in Quebec, and that it values Fathom’s solid relationships with lifestyle media.
