On Friday Adviso announced it has formalized its relationship with Air Canada and will handle the brand’s digital media account through 2014.
The Montreal-based agency joins JWT and Mindshare, which handle the airline’s creative and above-the-line media, respectively. In May, Air Canada underwent a review in which the two WPP-owned agencies were selected as its AORs.
Adviso has been working with Air Canada since early this year, and the partnership is slated to run through at least all of next year. Since it began working for the airline, it has tapped into big data to improve the brand’s digital media buy and performance attribution.
In a statement, Air Canada director of marketing communications Selma Fiali said, “Adviso is a business with a true digital DNA. It has radically transformed the way we buy digital media and significantly increased our return on investment, which is why we have decided to extend the partnership through 2014.”
“In Air Canada we’ve found a client who will let us execute our ideas to the fullest and leverage our complimentary expertise, including web analytics and optimization to work,” added Jean-Francois Renaud, partner and co-founder of Adviso.
