Alain Tadros

Tadros’ operational oversight includes all Publicis Worldwide entities in Québec – BCP, BCP Reputation, Publicis Montréal, Publicis Modem Montréal, and REA Studios.

“This new position, and Alain’s appointment, mark a natural next step to the changes implemented earlier in the year,” said Yves Gougoux, chairman of the board of Publicis Canada and BCP, in a release Tuesday.

“The decision I made to distance myself from my operational duties, in order to invest all of my energy in my role as chairman of both boards, has paved the way to a fresh approach to Publicis Worldwide’s activities in Canada – and more specifically in Québec.”

Tadros is one of the founders of EM Agency (formerly Harry&Co), which focused on shopper marketing. It was bought by BCP last summer and Tadros was subsequently named president of BCP.

Andrew Bruce, president and CEO of Publicis Canada, said Tadros’ “rapid impact and decisive leadership at the helm of BCP will now benefit all of Publicis Worldwide’s clients in Québec.”

The appointment, effective Tuesday, won’t change the organizational structure of Publicis or BCP, which operate independently under the Publicis Worldwide banner.
