Angèle Lévesque has been promoted to the newly-created position of president of Rivet Canada, the agency announced Tuesday.
Lévesque, who has been with the Toronto-based agency since 2004, has served as vice-president and managing director for the last five years.
“Our success has come out of being focused on our expertise which is customer relationship marketing. My goal is to continue to enhance and enable that within our organization. It’s very exciting. We’ve grown significantly and it’s nice to see that focus and that specialization come to life in a vibrant Toronto-based agency.”
Lévesque has more than 19 years of marketing experience and began her career at Ogilvy Toronto, producing work for brands such as GlaxoWellcome and American Express. Prior to joining Rivet, Lévesque spent time in the U.K. directing campaigns for Nintendo and Toshiba, and currently serves as vice-chair of the CMA Insights and Analytics Council.
Rivet’s client roster includes CIBC, Nestlé Canada, Janssen, Primus, Purolator, OTMPC and Eaton. Its network spans Chicago, St. Louis, New York and Toronto, and the agency is part of the Interpublic Group of Companies.
