Lowe Roche to defend its luxury automotive account

Audi Canada is readying a procurement-led review of its advertising account, Marketing has learned.

The account has been with Toronto’s Lowe Roche for five years. Typically, the automaker reviews its agency relationships every three years as a matter of policy, but had extended those deadlines with Lowe Roche.

Monica Ruffo, who recently became CEO of Lowe Roche, said her agency will definitely defend the account.

“We’ve done amazing work for them and were really proud of it,” Ruffo said. “The relationship is good. There’s no reason why we wouldn’t be going for this.”

Mike Briscoe, director of marketing and product management, said the RFP will be issued “soon,” with the review expected to conclude by year’s end.
