Our Tip: Results are key for this show. Armstrong suggests presenting results “in an impactful way.” Year-over-year sales growth is a biggie. For more helpful info, read the submission guidelines.

Mike Armstrong, CAPMA’s president and senior vice-president at Armstrong Partnership, said this year’s competition will be promoted on Twitter and Facebook for the first time. “We’re trying to get not just existing participants engaged, but the younger participants too,” he said. “We’re trying to evolve as our industry evolves.”

Mathew Diamond, who joined Hunter Straker as managing director a year ago, is the judging committee chair and currently drafting his jury members.

This year’s Promo Awards gala will be held in Toronto at the Carlu on Sept. 15.
