BBDO strengthens its management team in Canada

Long-time executives Paul Reilly and Rosie Gentile are promoted in the Toronto office

BBDO Toronto has rewarded two long-time executives with promotions to the senior management team.

Paul Reilly is now chief operating officer and Rosie Gentile has been named senior vice-president, connections strategy, data and insights.

Reilly, who has been with BBDO for 11 years and in the industry for 20 years, will now oversee daily operations at the agency including the recently launched Flare in-house video production and post-production unit.

“Over the past year, we’ve made a number of moves to keep us at the front of the ever-evolving changes taking place in our industry,” said Dom Caruso, president and CEO at BBDO Canada, in a release announcing the promotions. “Paul and Rosie are key leaders who have been helping drive that change.”

Gentile, who also has more than 20 years agency experience, joined Proximity Canada in 2013 as vice-president, integrated strategy and insights. The release said her promotion “recognizes the central part that connections strategy and data intelligence now play in BBDO’s content creation.”

BBDO Toronto’s senior leadership team is now comprised of Caruso, Reilly and Gentile along with executive creative directors Denise Rossetto and Todd Mackie and executive creative director digital & innovation, Mike Kasprow.
