Michael Bechtol, formerly president of Sierra Pacific Packaging in the U.S., has been announced as the new chief operating officer for the Toronto-based shopper marketing firm Pareto.
Prior to Sierra, Bechtol was president at Catalina Marketing, an American firm at which he stayed for 17 years.
“Michael’s extensive operating experience, proven growth-phase company leadership and innovative support of client needs will be invaluable to Pareto moving forward,” said Kerry Shapansky, Pareto’s president and CEO.
“He is an exceptional team builder and we are excited to have an executive of his calibre join us.”
