Boom Marketing founder joins Fuse Marketing Group

Nicole Gallucci is tasked with building the agency's experiential business

Industry veteran and experiential marketing expert Nicole Gallucci has joined Fuse Marketing Group, the Toronto-based shop announced Monday.

Gallucci, who founded experiential shop Boom Marketing in 2003 and served as president and CEO of that agency until early this year, is tasked with leading and building upon Fuse’s experiential business and growing its client base with a more focused, strategic approach.

“We have been advancing our experiential business throughout the past years, having achieved widespread success and acclaim for CIBC at the GTAA and Panamania,” said Stephen Brown, president, Fuse Marketing Group in a release. “Fuse’s strengths within digital, social, CRM and data merge perfectly with smart, strategic experiences such at XM, stunts and more, hence our need to build up a strong XM bench strength with the hire of Nicole.”

Last year Gallucci authored a book titled Adversperience, which outlines a multi-sensory, two-way engagement between brands and their target audience. She is also a regular contributor to the Globe and Mail’s “Leadership Lab Series,” where executives share their insights and offer advice on leadership and management.

Gallucci joins a number of new hires at the shop, including Marc Pelland, who joined the Fuse team as creative technologist in April.
