Qatar Airways has chosen Brad as its media agency of record.

In February, the airline announced it had obtained flying rights for Canada and chose Montreal as its first destination.

Brad’s first mandate will be to come up with a strategy for the launch of the Montreal-Doha route, taking off June 29. In its press release, Qatar Airways said it hoped this foray into the country would pave the way for additional Canadian destinations.

“We are very happy with this account. Qatar Airways is a rapidly-growing prestigious client. We won over its team with our integrated media approach, where creation, planning, and interactivity are one,” said Dany Renauld, co-president of Brad in a press release.

Qatar Airways becomes the second Middle-Eastern airline, after Royal Jordanian, with a flight to Montreal. For now, Brad’s mandate only covers Quebec.
