Toronto-based Butter Public Relations has been hired as All-Clad’s PR agency of record in Canada after a formal review. The account was previously held by Montreal-based 1Milk2Sugars PR.

Butter PR, which is dedicated solely to the food industry, will launch gourmand-targeted initiatives, and handle media relations, strategic planning, partnerships and event planning for the Canadian arm of Pennsylvania-based All-Clad, which is owned and distributed by Groupe SEB.

Agency founder Shawn Rusich said one area of focus will be editorial and sponsorship opportunities with food and lifestyle publications, as well as on television.

“Some of the mandates were to get sponsorship on some of the current Canadian reality series like Top Chef or Bachelor Canada,” he said. “We’ll do outreach with food stylists and photographers to get All-Clad products incorporated into Food & Drink magazine, House & Home or the life section of The Globe & Mail.

Butter PR’s client roster also includes Pusateri’s, Just-Eat.ca and Informa Canada’s Delicious Food Show, among others
