Chatterbox offers affordable social media expertise

Sometimes it takes a motor mouth to get noticed online. That’s where Chatterbox Social Media comes in.

Sometimes it takes a motor mouth to get noticed online. That’s where Chatterbox Social Media comes in.

Founded by Emily Psimoulis, president and CEO of experiential marketing company Thinkbox National Marketing, the new company will be based in Vancouver.

Psimoulis said Chatterbox targets small business and offers them a designated social media strategist–what she calls one of her five “motor mouths”–to manage the Twitter and Facebook side of a brand.

“Essentially we help companies find their voice. We identify the target and we engage in heat-seeking chats,” she said. “We’re just simple, effective, cheap and not intimidating.”

Clients include Bombay Brow Bar, Toronto Luxury Suites, Reader Store and Happy Planet.

“More agencies and shops are devoted to digital and online marketing and there’s an increasing amount of focus on large scale campaigns and strategies,” said Psimoulis. “But social media can be approached in a way that is far simpler and far less daunting for companies that are slow adopters of the trend.”
