The Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation (NSHRF) has tapped Halifax agency Colour to design a website that will serve as a resource for human resources professionals in the health field nationwide.

The NSHRF began an agency review earlier this summer after receiving a $250,000 grant from Health Canada to create the website.

Chris Keevill, president and CEO at Colour, said the new site would give health human resources planners access to information and to each other, a service that does not currently exist online.

“There’s a wide range of health professional needs, and assembling and organizing and aggregating all the tools and information to make their work easier is the objective of this site,” said Keevill. “Secondarily, the objective is to create community among the users, because these folks all share a common challenge of resource planning, but they don’t often get a chance to meet and share best practices.

“This site will be a very social site where the community will get built and best practices will be shared among users.”

An English and French version of the national website will go live early next year.
