COMB announces board changes

Touché! president Karine Courtemanche succeeds Dave Petryna as chair

The Canadian Out-of-home Measurement Bureau (COMB) has made a series of changes to its board, including naming Touché! president Karine Courtemanche its new chair.

Courtemanche, who takes over the role from Outdoor Exposure general manager Dave Petryna, said in a release the new role represented an “exciting opportunity,” particularly as technology creates so much potential for the medium.

Petryna will remain with COMB as a director, where he is being joined by three new counterparts: Craig Jennings, director of media/agency investment at RBC; Cindy Worsley, senior vice-president, business director at MediaCom; and Jordana Fatsis, vice-president of sales for Astral Out-of-home.

Pattison Outdoor Advertising chief financial officer Barry Wilde will remain as treasurer, while Rosanne Caron continues in her role as president.

Other board members include Brooke Leland, general manager of Cossette; Kristine Lyrette, president of ZenithOptimedia; Richard Ivey, chief procurement officer for Media Experts; Lisa Kahn, VP group director for Vizeum/Dentsu Aegis; Randy Otto, president of Pattison Outdoor Advertising; Bob Leroux, VP/GM central region, Pattison Outdoor Advertising; Troy Sedgwick, president and CEO of REC Media; Nick Arakgi, president of Outfront Media; Michele Erskine, senior VP, Canada, Outfront Media; and Philippe Marchessault, executive VP of operations, development and innovation for indoor advertising at Newad.

Established in 1965, COMB is a non-profit organization that produces circulation and market data for more than 61,000 out-of-home advertising faces in 275 Canadian markets.
