Cossette Media has been awarded the Government of Quebec agency of record media planning and buying business for the next four years. The media spend is worth $75 million a year.

The news was not made public, but was delivered to all Cossette employees in Canada via internal e-mail today by Pierre Delagrave, president, Cossette Media and Fjord Interactive Marketing + Technology. Cossette would not comment.

The AOR assignment was previously held by Carat, with Cossette holding the account prior to that.
