Cossette Media wins National Bank account

Montreal office tasked with managing the bank’s traditional media portfolio

Following a competitive review process, Cossette Media has been selected to handle media planning and buying for National Bank.

Cossette Media’s Montreal office will head up the business, (formally handled by Touché) and will work closely with the bank’s creative agency of record Sid Lee. Cossette Media is tasked with managing the bank’s traditional media portfolio for its various business units, including banking and insurance.

David Jowett, president of Cossette Media, said the agency learned about the win two months ago, and in terms of media, is “hitting the ground running.” He added that the agency’s experience in the financial space, most notably its work with BMO, played a large part in the account win.

“I think our experience in the category was extremely important to them,” Jowett said.

“A focus on innovation and driving client’s business are two of the core pillars to the success of our organization. It’s nice to see those recognized,” he added.
