Toronto’s Cue Digital Media has grown its sports portfolio with a new ad representation partnership with the SB Nation network.

Owned by Vox Media, SB Nation is a collection of more than 300 sites devoted to major professional and college sports throughout the United States and Canada. Its properties garner an estimated 888,000 unique Canadian visitors each month, ranking among the top 10 sports sites in the country according to ComScore Media Metrix.

Cue CEO and founder David U.K. called the partnership a “great opportunity” for his company, noting in a release that the SB Nation audience is comprised of “die hard male sports fans.” He characterized the typical SB Nation fan as an “affluent” and “avid” online user who is tech savvy and difficult to reach via traditional media vehicles.

Vox recently re-launched SB Nation. The company also operates the tech-focused website TheVerge.com and a gaming site called Polygon.com.

Cue currently reaches an estimated 22.6 million unique visitors in Canada, including 6.8 million males 18-49 according to ComScore data. The company represents properties including UFC.com, Heavy.com, CollegeHumor.com, FunnyOrDie.com and SpikeTV.com.
