Toronto-based Environics Analytics has acquired Generation5, a consumer information and marketing analytics firm owned by Voltari Canada Inc.
Generation5’s demographic, behaviour and segmentation product lines will be maintained alongside existing Environics Analtyics products to meet the needs of users of both systems, according to a press release.
Over time, the company will “explore synergies and opportunities” to develop new data and analytics products.
“With the Generation5 experts joining our team, we now have even more tools, data and strategies to help Canadian marketers connect with their customers and grow their business,” said Jan Kestle, president of Environics Analytics, in a release. “We are very excited about the new opportunities this will allow us to offer to both companies’ customers.”
