Environics Communications officially opens San Francisco office

Environics Communications has opened its fourth and newest office in San Francisco.

PR firm Environics Communications has opened a new office in San Francisco.

The new office is lead by general manager Jonelle Birney Sullivan, a PR veteran formerly with Sullivan Birney Communications.

The U.S. expansion is in response to client demand. The agency already serves several clients in the city, such as biotechnology company Genencor, technology firm JDSU and the national headquarters of children’s literacy nonprofit Raising A Reader.

“All of our clients see it as a plus to have a local office,” said Bruce MacLellan, president of Environics. “We expect to build business in technology, not-for-profit, telecom and other sectors.

“We are particularly pleased to have Jonelle as general manager, with her expertise working for large public and private corporations, start-up companies and successful nonprofits. She also has extensive experience working in Washington, and knows how to develop and implement communications campaign for public policy initiatives, caused-related programs and legislative and regulatory efforts.”

Environics Communications also has offices in Toronto, Montreal and Washington, D.C.
