H2 Central Marketing & Communications today announced some big changes to its executive structure. Co-founder and former president Elizabeth Hoyle has assumed the role of CEO, and Christine Saunders has taken over as president, leaving her previous position of vice-president of interactive marketing.

Co-founder Don Hall has left his post as vice-president and creative director, and has been appointed executive vice-president, retaining his title of creative director.

The changes reflect the full-service agency’s long-term view of growth and desire to enhance client service capabilities. Hoyle will continue to maintain client partnerships, while Saunders assumes operational responsibility and will pursue new business development.

“We have a crazy idea of a one hundred-year vision,” said Hoyle. “We have been doing quite well over the past six to seven years, and we needed to have more manpower behind us.”

H2 was founded in 2005 and has grown from two employees to 40 in six years.

Hoyle said the Toronto-based agency does about 100 campaigns each year, focusing mainly on the financial services sector.
