Faulhaber Communications announces two account wins

Indivior Canada and G Adventures join the firm's growing client list

Faulhaber Communications has been named agency of record for publicly-traded pharmaceutical company Indivior Canada and independent adventure travel company G Adventures.

The agency will be involved in Indivior’s launch this fall of the Canadian version of websites Drugs Over Dinner and ORbeOK.ca. The U.S. version of Drugs Over Dinner launched in May and has been championed by such influencers as Arianna Huffington. Indivior makes the drug Suboxone to treat opioid dependence.

“Indivior is trying to draw attention to a growing group of individuals who may not know they are opioid dependent, often as a result of being prescribed an opioid to ease chronic pain,” says Christine Faulhaber, CEO and president of 18-employee Faulhaber Communications.

Drugs Over Dinner aims “to break down the stigma of opioid dependency and create a platform for open and honest dialogue on the disease,” Faulhaber says, while ORbeOK is one of the first Canadian resources for opioid dependents. The agency will also be handling media relations, event planning and media training for Indivior.

For G Adventures, Faulhaber will be putting together a travel event in Toronto this September to celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary and the announcement of a “major” partnership for the brand.

The agency will also handle media relations, event planning and strategy for G Adventures. “I’m a bit of a travel junkie. It’s an area we wanted to delve further into,” Faulhaber says of the account.

Faulhaber’s client list includes skincare brand Dermalogica, Bacardi, clothing brand Ted Baker and National Bank.
