Fresh Baked Entertainment has relaunched its branded web division that matches brands trying to get a foothold in the online marketing space with web series producers with proven concepts and engaged fan followings.
Fresh Baked, a branded content agency founded in 2008, revamped the site to offer a service that connects marketers to pre-existing and in-development online series that align with their brands. The agency then facilitates the introduction to provide the brand with integration opportunities that will reach the show’s online audiences.
Brett Heard, president and founder of Fresh Baked, said the new site is not a “re-invention” of the company, but rather an expansion since there is a disconnect between the worlds of marketers and producers – two groups that need each other for success but with no bridge between them.
“There is a lot of data showing that pre-roll and banner ads are not working. This is the best way to deliver your message to an engaged audience. Web series all need financing, marketing and need to get to their markets in an authentic way.”
The site includes a large database of shows (currently more than 200) and a continually updated information hub addressing ROI for brands diving into online content. For those looking to build something from scratch, the site also provides an RFP service for marketers looking to develop a web series from the ground up.
Toronto-based Fresh Baked operates in both Canada and the U.S. and has worked with brands like McDonald’s, J&J and ConAgra to create web shows, feature films, TV pilots and non-branded web series.
