What happens when you combine natural-born storytellers like you with an insane industry that just gets more and more surreal every day? Some amazing stories, that’s what.

Marketing wants to know about your worst day in advertising (or marketing, or PR or media).

Send us a link to your one-minute video of you telling your story by end-of-day Monday, Jan. 23 to earn a spot on stage during our secret Advertising Week reader VIP party on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

Marketing staff will choose the best one-minute stories and finalists will be given up to five minutes to talk about the most ridiculous, embarrassing, career-testing moments in front of 150 wincing, laughing Marketing readers. A panel of judges will score the stories and declare a winner.

Have the best story about your worst day in advertising? Upload your one-minute (max!) video and send the link to our online team.

Date: Tuesday, Jan. 24
Time: 8 PM – 10 PM
Location: To be revealed to Marketing subscribers shortly. But here’s a hint: it’s in downtown Toronto
