Public relations firm bolsters teams in Toronto, Calgary and Regina

Hill+Knowlton Strategies has promoted two employees and added three others in its offices throughout the country.

Cortney Anderson has been promoted from account director to senior account director in the firm’s Toronto office. Anderson joined H+K’s technology communications practice four years ago.

In the Calgary office, Tabetha Boot goes from being an account director to group leader and assumes the management and mentorship of team members in corporate, crisis, marketing communications and issues management. Boot has nearly 10 years of experience and will continue to provide service and account management to clients across several business sectors.

Jaime Shulman joins H+K in Toronto as an account director with the firm’s national corporate development group. Shulman brings more than 12 years of senior marketing experience working with brands in the hospitality, fashion, arts, finance and banking, automotive, CPG and retail sectors.  Shulman has also held several senior agency roles and was the founder of her own boutique marketing agency.

Mike Murphy joins the firm’s public-sector communications practice as a senior associate in H+K’s Ottawa office. Murphy has more than 25 years of experience in strategic communications, public affairs, health care and journalism. He will help develop new business opportunities in the Ottawa and national health-care communities.

In Regina, Tessa Ritter joins as a senior consultant. Ritter will use her experience in policy development and implementation, stakeholder engagement and the Saskatchewan political landscape to provide strategic counsel to public, private and non-profit sector clients.
