St. John’s, Nfld. agency Target Marketing and Communications cast itself in a period piece last Friday night, celebrating the holidays with an Old Hollywood theme party.
The event included a red carpet, fancy formalwear and the “Target People Golden Choice Awards,” which lauded agency employees for achievements both sublime and ridiculous – categories included “best beard” and “most ignored e-mailer.”
Daphne North, communications lead for Target, also implied in an e-mail that the evening featured plenty of cheerful misbehaviour.
“There is enough blackmail material to ensure real teamwork for a while,” she said.
The party capped a festive month for Target, which has also raised $1,300 and several gifts for its annual holiday drive to help a family in need.
