Holiday Cheer: The Hive’s “Invent” Calendar

The agency re-imagines the advent calendar

On December 1, a package arrived at the Marketing offices that marked the start of advent season. The Hive has playfully re-imagined the Christmas classic as an “Invent Calendar,” which is “just like a regular advent calendar, but with zero religion and no chocolate.”

The package came with a building block wrapped up for each day of the month and the promise that the sum of all the blocks add up to something great. For the past nine days, we’ve been unwrapping blocks and seeing what fits. So far: a series of pipes that only an engineer could piece together and a set of polka dot designs we hope will soon make sense.
