Humanitarian Coalition, a network of four Canadian non-governmental organizations, has named two companies to handle its public relations agency of record duties.

Toronto-based Media Profile is now its English PR AOR, and Montreal-based Zone Franche is its French PR AOR.

Humanitarian Coalition’s members – Care Canada, Oxfam Canada, Oxfam-Québec and Save the Children Canada – combine forces during times of international humanitarian disasters to educate the Canadian public in a unified voice. The members also work together on fundraising efforts.

Media Profile and Zone Franche will coordinate and execute such communications to promote awareness and aid during global emergencies.

Media Profile is an employee-owned PR firm that’s done communications planning and execution for both public sector and not-for-profit organizations. In addition to its Toronto office, it has locations in Montreal and Vancouver.

Communications and PR agency Zone Franche works with companies in a variety of sectors, from transport to financial services to education.
