As a result of a global creative account consolidation, Quaker Foods & Snacks North America has moved its account from Toronto’s Juniper Park to its Chicago-based Omnicom sibling shop Energy BBDO.

Quaker, a PepsiCo brand, issued a statement saying “based on Energy BBDO’s expertise for setting global strategy and developing breakthrough creative thinking, we believe they are the right agency to help Quaker accelerate our brand positioning worldwide.”

“We sincerely appreciate the work that Juniper Park has done for the Quaker business and thank them for all of their efforts,” it said.

Juniper Park just released its latest work for the brand on Monday, putting Harvest Crunch bars on television following an out-of-home phase.

The agency won the lion’s share of the Quaker work late in 2010, bringing a large stable of products into an already sizable PepsiCo account that included Lay’s, Sunchips and Cheetos, among other products.

However, in August of 2011, PepsiCo began moving some of those brands to Energy BBDO. This latest move to Energy BBDO gives them products including Old Fashioned Quaker Oats, Quaker Instant Oatmeal, its Chewy granola bars and several ready-to-eat cereals such as Oatmeal Squares and Life

Juniper, a sibling of Energy BBDO within BBDO Worldwide, currently serves as agency of record for Virgin Mobile, Ontario Toyota Dealers Association, Toronto Pearson International Airport and Corus Entertainment, among others.
