Jodi Kasten, formerly senior vice-president of marketing at The Weather Network, has joined Mindshare Canada as managing director, digital.

Kasten will report to Karen Nayler, the media agency’s president. According to a release, Kasten will be responsible the all of the agency’s digital services.

“The pace of Mindshare Canada’s growth, particularly in the digital area, combined with the increasing complexity and importance of this space led us to expand our leadership team and create this new position,” Nayler said in the release. “Jodi is a great addition for us and her background and experience are a perfect fit for the job.”

Kasten joined The Weather Network in 2010 of many years within Microsoft, serving as head of sales for Microsoft Advertising Canada from 2008 until 2010. Prior to her time at Microsoft, Kasten worked at SAP, a business software company.
