McCall has been working with KBS’ clients in Toronto and Montreal for the past year, so the new title formalizes an existing arrangement.

KBS’s Canadian presidents Annie Aubert (Montreal) and Nick Dean (Toronto) now report to McCall, who in turn reports to global executive chairman Lori Senecal.

“Steve is a fantastic collaborator whose philosophy of a ‘long hallway’ between New York, Montreal and Toronto has already proven itself a winning formula,” said Aubert, in a release.

KBS Canada seems to have become a focus for its holding company, MDC Partners, over the last year. It recently announcing the formal launch of a cause marketing business unit and the integration of fellow MDC Partners agency Captial C.

McCall’s home office in New York also saw some executive changes Monday. Chief strategy officer Jonah Bloom and chief information officer Matt Powell were made co-presidents in an ongoing up-shuffling of senior leadership. When Senecal was appointed president and CEO of the MDC Partner Network, Ed Brojerdi was promoted to her old CEO position within KBS. Bloom and Powell, in turn, have assumed Brojerdi’s former responsibilities.

KBS Canada counts Target, Subway and The Keg among its clients.
