Kwittken wins AOR status for two sunglasses brands

Mandate includes national communications programs for Bollé and Serengeti

Bushnell Outdoor Products Canada has named Kwittken its public relations agency of record for its Bollé and Serengeti brands.

The Toronto agency won the business through a competitive process, said Kwittken account executive Alix Gropper. Both brands have not had an agency of record for several years.

Starting this month, Kwittken is leading a national communications program to promote both Bollé and Serengeti, with an initial focus on the brands’ spring 2016 launches.

Bollé makes performance sunglasses, snow goggles and cycling helmets and Serengeti makes designer sunglasses.

“2016 is set to be a year of innovation and growth for Bushnell and our eyewear and cycling brands,” said Rene Gerber, marketing manager at Bushnell, in a statement. “Kwittken’s in-depth understanding of the Canadian market and thoughtful, creative approach to communications makes them an ideal agency partner for us.”

Kwittken expanded to Toronto in 2014. The firm also has offices in New York and London and has been a part of the MDC Partners network since 2010.
