It will be a busy year on the awards circuit for Judy John. The CEO and chief creative officer of Leo Burnett Toronto has been tapped to lead juries at both the Clio Awards and ADC Awards.

John will steer the Clio Awards’ Direct and Engagement jury, which is still accepting nominations for jury members. At the ADC (Art Directors Club) show, John is set to lead the 13-member Interactive jury.

“Being asked to chair international shows of this calibre is such an honour,” said John, in a statement. “I’m really looking forward to the experience, meeting great judges and seeing some amazing work.”

Two other Canadians have been tapped to take part in the ADC awards program. Monique Gamache, design director and partner at Calgary’s Wax Partnership, will sit on the Design panel, and Hélène Godin, creative director at Sid Lee, is set to judge the Advertising competition.

JWT Toronto‘s Brent Choi, chief creative and integration officer, sits on the Clios’ Digital/Social/Digital Technique nine-person jury.

The submission periods for all ADC categories have closed. Clio hopefuls have until April 11 to submit work.
