To draw attention to this year’s McMichael Canadian Art Collection Moonlight Gala, Toronto agency Juniper Park developed a poster campaign that speaks to the uniqueness of the event and venue.

“The Girl in the Moon” is a series of black and white photographs –  taken by Nikki Ormerod – of an elegantly coiffed woman against the backdrop of a moon.

A treed overlay lightly blankets the image of the woman to pay homage to the venue, which is located in the wooded Humber River Valley outside of Toronto.

The photography appears in the top left hand corner of the print ads running in City Life, Globe and Mail and Toronto Life. The remainder of the space is occupied by oil paint on a palette.
