Marie-Ève Bédard has joined Quebec PR firm Tact Intelligence-Conseil as a director.

Bédard has worked in ministry offices in Quebec City for nearly a decade. She began her career as a press officer and then director of communications, before becoming chief of staff for Quebec’s Minister of Health and Social Services.

Bédard went on to hold positions as research and communications director, head of mission and special advisor for the official opposition before becoming chief of staff for the Minister of Education, Higher Education and Research and Minister responsible for Recreation and Sport.

“In addition to her broad experience at the political, governmental and parliamentary levels, Marie-Ève has held a range of positions requiring leadership and excellent communication skills,” said François Ducharme, the firm’s chief operating officer and senior partner, in a statement.
