The submissions website for the 2009 Marketing Awards will be up and running at TheMarketingAwards.ca, first thing Monday morning. Anyone hoping to take home one of Canada’s most-prized creative honours will have until Feb. 13 to submit their entries.

The Awards will be co-chaired this year by Frédéric Girard, senior art director, Sid Lee, and Patrick Scissons, vice-president, group creative director, BBDO Toronto. They are assembling the jury now, and it should be complete before Christmas. Stay tuned to Marketing Daily for the announcement.

The Marketing Awards honours the best advertising in the country—advertising that is relevant, effective and memorable—and demonstrates that world-class creative is being produced by agencies in Canada. Now in its 87th year, the Marketing Awards is produced by Marketing magazine and has been a juried competition for more than 40 years.
