• Olive Media announced it added a couple of websites to its men’s portfolio this week. Now on tap: ToroMagazine.com, Flixster.com, RottenTomatoes.com and Psychologies.com.

• Publicis Montreal produced a great, haunting visual for the Canadian Red Cross’ Japanese relief efforts.

• Jewel’s literal run-in with a school bus resulted in the kind of news coverage car brands want to have.

• You Tube issued it’s “Good Work” Cannes challenge last week. Get scribbling.

• The Association of American Publishers issued a report last week showing paper book sales took a serious hit in January. “Adult Hardcover category fell from $55.4M to $49.1M (-11.3%), Adult Paperback dropped from $104.2M to $83.6 (-19.7%) and Adult Mass Market declined from $56.4M to $39.0 (-30.9%).”

• Evian is try to green its 1.5L packaging. The press release sayeth, “The new bottle, made of up to 50% recycled-PET, remains 100% recyclable while using 11% less plastic… reducing its overall carbon footprint by 32 percent.” And, ooh, there’s a cute video to go with it.
