Mark’s pens another anthem for jeans

The retailer's latest spot is a salute to the lives of Canadian men

Two years ago, Mark’s debuted an emotive, anthemic brand spot, “Everything In Jeans,” that served as a turning point for the retailer. Once known as a staid, dependable destination for work wear, Mark’s has tried to re-position itself as a lifestyle brand – and a more fashionable, contemporary destination for men.

The brand’s latest spot, launched online late last week, continues on that path. Making use of the orange box branding from 2014, the spot (by Will) serves as an anthem for Canadian men, saluting their grit, determination and humour, and ultimately inviting them to “Step into life.” (And their local Mark’s.)
