MediaCom Canada announced Monday it has selected Jason Grabinsky as its senior vice-president and client service director.
Grabinsky will be reporting to chief client officer Viki Alincy, who said in a release that Grabinsky was selected based on his experience at top agencies such as Young & Rubicam Brands (Y&R), BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi.
“Jason’s experience and skill set adds to our ongoing efforts to improve the work we do for our clients, strengthening our partnerships and deliver growth to our clients’ business,” Alincy said.
Prior to joining MediaCom, Grabinsky spent more than 15 years at Y&R, first as an account director and supervisor, then as vice-president and group account director. He helped lead the agency’s strategies for brands like Ford of Canada. Prior to that he had been an account director at BBDO and an account supervisor at Saatchi & Saatchi.
“I was extremely excited when the opportunity came to join MediaCom and work alongside some of the industry’s brightest minds and top Canadian brands and to bring a level of content and integrated marketing forth to continue to help clients stay on top,” Grabinsky said.
Grabinsky is the third client service director the agency has hired at the vice-president level and is the latest in a string of senior hires by MediaCom. In May, it hired former Rogers Media digital sales director Robert Meth as director of new business development. That was followed by three senior level hires in June including Jodi Brown as director of content, Robin Hassan has as senior vice-president of digital strategy and Robert Lewocz who, like, Grabinsky, has taken on a senior vice-president and client service director role.
