MediaCom, a media agency in WPP’s GroupM division, has been awarded the Canada’s Passion Capital award for 2013.
The award, presented jointly by BNN and Knightsbridge, was inspired by Paul Alofs’ book Passion Capital: The World’s Most Valuable Asset, “to recognize great Canadian organizations that have achieved long-term success with Passion Capital.”
The awards’ organizers describe passion capital as “the energy, intensity, and sustainability needed to generate superior results.”
“I’m thrilled to accept this award on behalf of our entire team,” said MediaCom Canada CEO Jamie Edwards, in a release. “We’ve done some amazing work over the last three years and it’s great to receive recognition from the broader business community, that our approach is seen as both inspiring and market leading.”
