Michael Murray head shot
SapientNitro has hired Michael Murray as its newest creative director.

Murray arrives from Blammo, where he was a partner and had served as chief creative officer. Prior to that, he’d been a vice-president and executive creative director at CP+B Canada, and a writer at Taxi, crafting the agency’s award winning Viagra campaigns.

“We are extremely excited to have Michael further expand the skills of our team here at SapientNitro,” said Michael Howatson, ECD at SapientNitro, in a statement.

“His creative depth and proven track record of outstanding work brings something special to our journey over the coming years. He is also an ideal fit to the unique culture we are building to provide an amazing place to do innovative, boundary-breaking work where technology and story meet.”

Murray’s portfolio includes work for clients such as IKEA, Tourism Toronto and Virgin Radio.
