Halifax agency Extreme Group has appointed Dylan Moggey as its new associate creative director.

Moggey moves to the Atlantic coast from Grey Canada in Toronto, where he also held the associate creative director title. His industry experience also includes a stint at Sharpe Blackmore Euro RSCG.

With the addition of Moggey, Extreme fills the void in its creative team left by former co-creative director Anthony Taaffe, who left the agency last year and subsequently took the creative director position at Halifax firm Chester and Company.

Shawn King, chief creative officer at Extreme Group, said Moggey’s versatility and personality made him the right candidate for the ACD role.

“He’s got a really diverse background. He’s got a lot of digital experience and a lot of knowledge of design and digital functionality,” said King. “But it was also fit; fit is a big deal. He’s really down to earth and has a lot of common sense and seems to fit within the culture that we like.”

Moggey officially joined Extreme last week.
