Mosaic acquires Escalate

Move bolsters Mosaic's experiential capabilities

Mosaic has acquired U.S-based experiential and word of mouth shop Escalate. This marks Mosaic’s second agency purchase this year.

The move will bolster Mosaic’s experiential capabilities and the services it offers clients across North America. Earlier this year, Mosaic acquired Launch in an effort to strengthen its retail sample activation business.

“Escalate is one of the U.S. market leaders in creating brand advocacy through experiential marketing,” said Mosaic president Jeff Rogers, in a release. “Their word of mouth marketing expertise, advanced approach to measurement and proprietary Marketing Mix Prioritizer planning tool complement our capabilities perfectly.”

The partnership will also see Escalate clients benefit from a broader range of services including retailer marketing, sales and merchandising, package design, public relations and digital marketing, as well as increased scale across North America.

“We are extremely excited about this opportunity because Mosaic is the perfect partner to help us supercharge our growth,” said Abe Sorcher, president and co-founder of Escalate, in a release.  “This transition gives us the ability to serve our clients on an even higher level, continuing our focus on delivering superior business results.”

Escalate’s headquarters in New York City will become Mosaic’s first office in that city.
