After 30 days of doubt, fear and occasional itchiness, Marketing‘s Movember participants have reached the end of their tour of duty. Russ Martin and Jeromy Lloyd are now moustache free.

However, both agreed to one last awkward photo to record the final ‘stache status.

Neither participant seemed sad to see their face go bare once again. Martin, a writer, reportedly watched the clock tick down to midnight, ready to shave the second the calendar tipped to Dec. 1.

Sadly, he said, a month in, there still wasn’t much to shave.

Lloyd, online editor, repeatedly said he would shave something ridiculous onto his face in the closing days of the month (within reason), but discovered his sense of whimsy did not wake up as early as he did. The morning shaves remained uneventful right until the end.

Marketing‘s Movember team, Stachetag, managed to raise more than $700 for men’s physical and mental health awareness.

For those who have perhaps put off removing their mouth brow, there is a right way to go about The Shaving.
