Toronto restaurant Splendido has tapped Toronto PR shop Narrative Advocacy Media to boost its profile among the city’s “foodie” community.

In a release, Splendido’s general manager Carlo Catallo, praised Narrative as a “small but mighty” agency that will look to engage prospective customers in “new and interesting” ways.

Narrative’s first assignment is building buzz around the restaurant’s truffle tasting menu, as well as some of the restaurant’s upcoming classes.

Laura Serra, account supervisor for lifestyle brands at Narrative, said the Splendido assignment represents the first step in the agency’s goal to grow its roster of lifestyle-related assignments.

Housed within creative agency Bensimon Byrne, Narrative was established in 2007. Clients include Scotiabank, Vincor Canada, WIND Mobile, the Ontario Science Centre and the Trillium Gift of Life Network.
