Montreal agency CloudRaker has been named digital agency of record for milk brand Natrel, a division of the Canadian dairy cooperative Agropur.

The agency is tasked with creating what it describes as an “online ecosystem” for the Longueuil, Que.-based milk producer, including a new website and a social media presence. The new work is expected to debut in the fall.

While Natrel made its first foray into the social media space only this year, CloudRaker co-president and partner Jean-Sébastien Monty said it is becoming an “essential” part of the company’s marketing outreach.

Monty said he was also happy to be reunited with Caroline Losson, with whom he worked at Cossette in the late 1990s. Losson joined Natrel as vice-president of marketing in December 2009 after spending several years with Molson Canada and before that with Coca-Cola.

“She appears to be putting Natrel on a really good track,” said Monty. “It’s fun to be working with people that are not only smart, but also good people. We always try to align ourselves with clients that are fundamentally good people.

“Smart is fun, but if you can match it to great personalities and great personal values that makes everything a lot more fun. That’s one of the reasons we’re quite happy to be working with them.”
