Newad announced Monday the promotion of Didier Lortie to the position of creative director – a newly created post within the company.

Lortie has been an art director at the agency since 2008 and will now oversee the work of the creative team as well as Newad’s Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver graphic designers.

In addition, Zacharie Lavertu-Rondel has been named art director following his work at Sednove and Luz design. He will be working on Newad’s experiential marketing, indoor advertising, web and content campaigns.

“These additions strengthen Newad’s services by consolidating its support to agencies, planners, media buyers and brand managers,” said Julie Phaneuf, general manager, publishing and content at Newad, in a statement. “By collaborating, we will be able to better provide for our clients during the critical development phase. The creative department is the ideal ally for anyone who wishes to benefit from Newad’s platform’s full potential.”

Newad’s experiential, online, web and publishing platforms target young and affluent 18- to 34-year olds.
