Anomaly Toronto names president. Points.com gets a new CMO.

FRANKE RODRIGUEZ was appointed president of Anomaly’s new Toronto office, which officially opened its doors earlier this month. Rodriguez started with Anomaly as a group account director in 2007 and in 2009 became the agency’s global business director. There are several senior positions left to fill in Toronto, most notably the executive creative director and head of planning.
JOHN IRVINE is the new head of public relations and special events at Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC). This is Irvine’s second time working with the Vancouver-based retailer. He started with MEC in 1995, working in the buying and design department, and moved over to competitor Arc’teryx in 2004. Irvine will build on MEC’s brand ambassador program, which will include product testers and professional athletes and launch later this year.
SANDY PERLMAN is now CMO at Points.com, an online hub that allows consumers to transfer loyalty points among different accounts. During her career, Perlman has held senior-level positions at Microsoft, Chiat Day, Ralston Purina and Delrina.
After nearly nine years with Media Dimensions, LANCE MORETON was promoted from media manager to media director. Prior to Media Dimensions, Moreton was an account director at The Media Company and a media manager at Communiqué before that.
