The Hive hired NEIL MCPHEDRAN to lead its digital and consumer engagement teams. McPhedran returns to agency work after four years with Greenshag.com, an online men’s clothing company he co-founded with his wife. Prior to this, he was managing director at Tribal DDB.
JAMIE HUMPHRIES joined Toyota Canada as national marketing manager. Humphries spent the last 18 months as head of marketing for Steam Whistle Brewing. Prior to this, he held several senior level positions at Anheuser-Busch InBev, where he worked on such brands as Kokanee, Budweiser and Alexander Keith’s.
TC Media appointed JENNIFER FIELDS as director of business development for its Digital Solutions Group in Toronto. Fields will work to develop new partnerships with content publishers in Canada and the U.S. Prior to joining TC Media, Fields held the same title at Glam Media.
JONATHAN PAUL, a former senior staff writer at Strategy Magazine, joined Veritas as content and community manager to work with such clients as CBC, Wind Mobile and iShares. Prior to his time with Strategy, Paul worked with CTV.ca as a freelance web journalist.
