GEOFF CRAIG joined the Heart and Stroke Foundation as its VP marketing, communications and strategic alliances. Craig left Extreme Group in March after less than a year. During his career, Craig has worked with companies such as Maple Leaf Foods and Unilever.
Audience buying company Xaxis hired RODNEY PERRY as the managing director of its new Canadian division. Perry was most recently vice-president of Canadian operations for the CCAB and has also worked at MEC Interaction and OMD Digital.
TwentyTen Group added DANA SISSONS and JORDAN HARDING to its Vancouver and Toronto office, respectively. Sissons, who was most recently a global public relations lead at Electronic Arts, joined the agency as an associate partner. Harding joined the agency as an associate from IMG Canada where he was recently a manager of business development.
The Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) elected PEG HUNTER, vice-president marketing and communications at The Home Depot as chair of the CMA Board of Directors for the 2012-2013 year. Meanwhile, JOHN BOYNTON, executive vice-president and chief marketing officer at Rogers Communications, and CHRIS STAMPER, senior vice-president, corporate marketing, TD Bank Group were elected as new members of the board.
